Brigands threw me straight into the chaos—and I loved every second of it. A wild, top-down fantasy brawler blends fast-paced hack-and-slash combat with puzzle-solving and explosive environmental interactions. I picked the sorceress for my first run, and hurling fireballs into flaming tornadoes while dodging snapping turtles and angry goats was ridiculous fun I didn’t know I needed.
Each class plays differently, and the synergy between teammates’ powers is where the game shines. Playing solo is intense, but jumping in with friends on the couch turned everything into beautiful madness. We yelled, we died, we laughed—and then we jumped right back in.
One moment in Brigands, I’m taming a giant tortoise in a lava-filled dungeon, the next I’m trying to survive a minecart ambush with only a lightning trap and a lucky dodge to save me. The game doesn’t over-explain itself, which makes every victory feel earned. Yes, there are a few bugs, but the dev is quick to patch and always responsive.
Brigands might not be AAA polished, but they have heart, creativity, and serious replay value—especially with friends. Don't sleep on this one if you love couch co-op, quirky mechanics, and that nostalgic arcade feel with a modern twist.
