Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 throws me back into that same feeling I thought I was done with, but somehow it feels even harder this time. The place looks newer, brighter, but it doesn’t make me feel any safer. The moment I start my shift, I can tell things are going to go wrong.
I keep flipping through the screens, trying to keep track of everyone, but it’s like they move the second I blink. The music box messes with me the most. I’m always reaching for it, scared I’m winding it too late. And then there’s that empty Freddy head they give me. I never feel confident putting it on, but I still do it every time something steps too close.
There are moments where the hallway just sits dark and quiet, and I know something is waiting there. I stare at the screen and feel my chest tighten, like I’m trying to read a shadow. Sometimes I think I’m getting the hang of it, and then suddenly a new animatronic is right in front of me and I panic all over again.
By the time I finally make it through, I feel like I survived something that shouldn’t be real. It’s strange how a simple job in a fake pizza place can make my heart race like that.
