Gone Fishing had me laughing and screaming in the same five minutes—and I loved every second of it. What started as a chill fishing trip with my friends quickly turned into a desperate scramble to keep a lake monster from dragging us into the dark.

At night, the lake got angry. If we didn’t offer enough fish, the monster came hunting. The peaceful water turned deadly. Hiding in the cabin, running, everything is still useless. No chance. One time, we sold all our fish to the balloon trader for upgrades… and paid the price.
What really made it fun was the teamwork and we had to split up, gather bait, fish fast, and scream warnings when the shadows started moving. The balloon guy showing up midday always gave us a bit of hope—his totems saved us more than once. But still, each night got harder.
