Hoomanz!, made me thought feel this warm. On planet Erf, everything is upside down — the light hurts, the dark feels safe, and I’m this tiny creature called Shoo trying to protect my home from the loud, clumsy things called Hoomanz. They stomp around, break things, and laugh at the weirdest moments. I don’t fight them; I just make them scared enough to run away. Sometimes I throw a bottle, sometimes I sneak behind them and make a sound. Watching them panic and slip all over the place always makes me laugh a little.
There’s something peaceful about hiding in the dark. The trees glow softly, the wind hums, and I can almost forget that the world is in danger. But every time a Hooman shows up with their lights, I feel that rush again — the one that makes me move fast, quiet, and clever. I’ve learned that being scary isn’t about being mean. It’s about protecting what’s still pure and alive in this strange world.
Sometimes I just stop and watch the Hoomanz being silly — tripping, singing, playing their banjos badly. They’re loud, but not really evil. Maybe they just don’t understand. Still, I do what I must. This is my planet, my home, and I’ll keep it safe, one scare at a time.
