Keep Digging pulled me in with its simplicity. It wasn’t about fighting monsters or running from danger—it was just me, a shovel, and the quiet thrill of breaking through the earth. With friends by my side, the ground gave way piece by piece, and every layer felt like peeling back history. Moreover, sometimes we struck ordinary stone, other times a vein of ore shimmered, or a chest gleamed just enough to make us laugh and cheer like kids.
The deeper we went, the stranger it felt. A thousand meters sounded impossible at first, but when we all dug together, the earth seemed to melt faster. Rope lines stretched down, dynamite rumbled, and every tool upgrade made us just a little bolder. I liked the calm of it—no rush, no battles—just digging, selling, upgrading, and deciding which direction to go next.
What surprised me most was how personal it could feel even with eight people on screen. One of us sprayed colors to mark paths, another worked ropes, while someone else just dug like crazy, determined to break through first. It was silly, chaotic, and oddly relaxing all at once. The crashes and little bugs didn’t bother us much—we laughed, restarted, and went back underground like nothing happened.
