Keep on Mining pulled me in before I even realized it. I thought I'd just poke at a few rocks, pass some time — and suddenly an hour disappeared. It starts so simple. Hover your mouse, crack a rock, grab some ore.
Before long, I was watching little pickaxes fly out like tiny helpers, all chipping away without me doing anything. The screen filled with drops — iron, copper, whatever else the rocks were hiding — and I was just sitting there, upgrading everything. Stronger hits. Faster mining. New materials. Bigger numbers.
The skill tree? Massive. Every few minutes I’d unlock another branch, making everything just a little more powerful. Then came new pickaxes — each better than the last. I started combining materials, testing what worked best. Then I hit the talent cards. Every level, I got to choose one — like a little surprise gift every few minutes. Some were risky. Take more power, but the rocks get tougher.
Eventually, I unlocked the Mine — the idle part. Now it was mining even when I wasn’t. Bars appeared on their own. Progress kept moving. I’d go do something else, come back, and boom — new upgrades waiting.
It’s not flashy. It doesn’t shout at you. But man… it’s satisfying. A chill little loop that just keeps going. One more rock. One more upgrade. One more talent and I keep on mining.
