Progression is steady and surprisingly funny. Heroes combine into new classes, buildings open up new perks, and yes — if you feel a bit unhinged, you can sacrifice heroes for rewards. It leans into that humor without becoming dark or mean-spirited.
It’s also an ideal second-monitor companion. You don’t need to babysit it, but whenever you glance over, there’s usually something new to tweak, collect, or upgrade. The artwork is charming, the mechanics are friendly, and the game never demands more attention than you want to give.
