Mars Attracts made me laugh at how wrong it all felt, and yet I couldn’t stop. One moment I play park manager, laying down neat paths, building shiny rides, making sure the guests stay entertained. Then, I was dragging humans out of history, dropping them into glass cages, and watching Martians clap with joy at the show. It was dark, ridiculous, and addictive in a way only something this absurd could be.
The humans were the wild card. Romans grumbling in one corner, cowboys pacing in another, modern-day folks still checking for Wi-Fi signals while I decided whether to pamper them or push them until they broke. Sometimes I tailored their cages to keep them calm, sometimes I let chaos unfold just to see what happened. And when the probes came out… well, that was science, right?
The park itself kept me hooked. Expanding enclosures, managing staff, making sure my Martian tourists were happy enough to spend big—it all balanced that tycoon sim rhythm with the bizarre humor of Martians gawking at us like we were animals in a zoo. I couldn’t help but grin every time the “Ack Ack” echoed through the speakers as another human was dragged screaming into their new “home.”
It was cruel, clever, and strangely charming—like someone crossed Theme Park with a Martian’s idea of a joke. And I loved every second.
