Öoo started with me waking up somewhere strange, small, and not quite sure how I got there. Everything felt quiet, but not safe — like the world was watching me. I didn’t have much, just the ability to drop a bomb, and at first it felt more like a last resort than a tool.
Then I realized the bombs weren’t just for breaking things. They could move me, lift me, open paths I didn’t see before. Sometimes I’d hit a dead end and think I was stuck, only to remember a trick I’d learned earlier and find myself somewhere completely new. Every time I thought I knew all the ways to use them, the game found a way to surprise me.
The world was cute in a weird, quiet way — soft colors, tiny details, and a feeling that I didn’t quite belong but was welcome to keep going. No words, no big story, just me figuring it out one small puzzle at a time.
I got lost a lot, but it never felt frustrating. Every wrong turn taught me something, and going back through old areas with new ideas made the place feel alive. Sometimes I’d stop just to listen to the sounds or watch the background shift.
By the time I reached the end, it didn’t feel like I had collected power-ups. It felt like I had collected understanding. And in a way, that made it feel bigger than it looked from the start.
