Realms of Madness felt like starting with nothing but stone walls and a quiet sky, and slowly watching a world wake up around me. I built my first tower by hand, brick after brick, listening to the wind move across the empty fields. At first, it was just me, a few workers, and the sound of distant waves. But then the army began to grow — soldiers training in the courtyard, wizards whispering over glowing runes, trolls stomping the ground like drums.
The castle didn’t just rise — it became alive. Creatures from the sea surfaced when I called, scales glittering like coins beneath the water. Birds and strange beasts circled overhead, waiting for their moment to strike. And when the enemy fortress appeared across the field, lit red beneath the sun, I felt something shift inside me — something like pride, something like fear.
The battles weren’t just loud clashes of steel and fire. Sometimes I just watched from the walls — a dragon unfolding its wings, soldiers shielding each other, the sky dark with feathers. Every fight felt like a story being written in real time, and the world didn’t care whether I won with brilliance or luck as long as I kept going.
Even in the chaos, there were moments where I stopped to breathe — hearing the ocean below the stone, hearing my armies laugh around fires when the night was kind. The kingdom felt fragile, but also mine.
