ROUTINE PC Download
ROUTINE felt like stepping into a place where silence had weight. The moment I set foot on that lunar base, everything felt too still, like the walls were holding their breath. The lights flickered in that old 80s-future way, soft and warm at the edges, but the quiet underneath it all made my stomach twist.
Wandering through those empty halls felt almost peaceful at first. A tram station frozen mid-day, a mall with lights humming like they don’t notice the emptiness… small pieces of a life that suddenly stops.
I clung to the C.A.T. device like it was the only real thing I had. Scanning terminals, opening doors, tracing wires with shaking fingers… it made me feel a little less alone, even though it did nothing to stop the feeling that something smarter than me was stalking the same corridors.
The worst moments weren’t even the ones where I saw the threat — it was the moments before it appeared, when the lights buzzed a little too sharply or a vent rattled for just one second longer than it should’ve. Those tiny moments made every decision feel fragile, like one wrong turn would be my last.
But I kept moving, not because I felt brave, but because stopping felt worse. This place wanted answers, and so did I, even if the truth felt like something I shouldn’t touch.
And if you like wandering through quiet places that make your heartbeat feel too loud, you might also want to download The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, because it carries that same slow, heavy pull into a world that doesn’t let go once it has you.
