Rue Valley takes me to a town that feels stuck in time, like everything is repeating itself and I can’t get out. I play as Mr. Harrow, and every day is the same but also different. People say the same things, make the same mistakes, and yet I notice little things changing if I pay attention. It feels strange and a little lonely, but also kind of comforting in a weird way.
I wander the streets and meet all these characters. They all have their own stories, their own sadness and secrets, and sometimes I just sit and listen. It’s heavy sometimes, like I’m carrying their feelings with me. Other times it’s funny or sweet, little moments that make the day feel alive even though I know it will reset.
I keep thinking about choices, about what I could do differently to make a day feel right. Some things feel impossible to fix, and I mess up a lot. But the town feels real, like it remembers me even when I fail. I find little items, like a golden pistol or notes from past loops, and they make me feel like I’m leaving a mark, even if time keeps turning back.
