Shimagami PC Download
Shimagami instantly caught my attention with its beautiful anime-style visuals and vibrant world. An open-world game where only demi-human girls are alive, and you, alongside them, fight and explore their secrets. Honestly, I didn’t expect much at first, but the game surprised me in a good way.
I started exploring a lush, open environment; everything felt light and colourful, nothing too dark or overwhelming. Shimagami's characters include cat-girls to demon warriors, and many more, with different combat styles. Swapping between them during battles made things more dynamic. One of my favourite parts was using the wings to glide across long gaps; it made exploration feel free and fun.
Shimagami is not perfect, but the story has potential, and it’s sometimes hard to follow. I had to revisit the menu to piece things together because the progression didn’t always make sense, and the font was tiny on my laptop, which made reading tiring. Also, while combat is fun and the main character feels strong, the game is almost too easy; I barely feel threatened.
There’s no tutorial, so I spent the first-hour figuring stuff out. Once I learned what each character could do, it became much more enjoyable. I do think a short guide would help new players a lot.
Still, for a game made by one developer, it’s imposing. It runs okay on my system, though better optimisation would help people with lower-end PCS. Suppose you’re into anime RPGS and want something relaxing but full of cool characters and light action. In that case, I’d definitely recommend giving Shimagami a shot.
