Sonic X Shadow Generations is a game with two parts. One part is old, and one part is new. The old part is a remaster of Sonic Generations from 2011. The new part is all about Shadow the Hedgehog.
In the Sonic part, you play as two Sonics. One is from the past, and one is from the present. The past Sonic runs in 2D levels, and the modern Sonic runs in 3D. The levels are fast and fun, so you jump, dash, and spin through places from old Sonic games. The graphics look better now, but the gameplay feels the same as before. Some parts feel old now, but it still gives that fun, speedy feeling.
The new part of the game is about Shadow. He is trying to remember who he is. He will meet an old enemy named Black Doom, and the Shadows have to fight through memories, where they gain new powers, called Doom powers. Shadow wants to become strong and stop Black Doom forever.
In the story, you visit old places and fight old bosses. If you played Sonic games before, you will remember many of them. The music is also cool, and it is fun to see Shadow fight big enemies in a simple story. Sonic’s part feels old, but still fun. After experiencing high-speed adventures, immerse yourself in the richly detailed world of Download Black Myth: Wukong, where ancient legends come to life.
