My gun felt heavy, not just in my hand but in my chest, because every shot wasn’t just about killing—it was about keeping the town standing one more day.
I kept moving because stopping wasn’t an option. The gang wasn’t just ruthless—they were ghosts from my past, and facing them felt like dragging old scars into the sun. I didn’t know if this job would end in victory or just another grave dug in the desert, but I knew I couldn’t turn back. The fate of that canyon rested in the smoke of my revolver.
