Vellum PC Download
Vellum hooked me the moment I dipped my quill in my first colour. I didn’t know what to expect—just that I was about to dive into a roguelike that looked like someone gave a spellbook a personality and said, “Fight back.”
I started alone, flipping through glowing pages of ink-soaked powers. My Signature Ink was Red, which meant life, which I learned quickly was my best friend. I started pulling spells like flaming swords and orbiting anvils, mixing colours that completely changed how they worked. Toss in a splash of Teal, and suddenly my basic attacks chained like lightning. I wasn't just playing—I was rewriting how combat felt.
Each run in Vellum is set inside a massive Tome. The pages twist and change each time, as do the enemies. The Torn don’t just attack; they evolve because of my choices. I could write their upgrades. I made one too fast, regretted it instantly, and then spent five minutes dancing around spells and dodging flaming rabbits. No joke.
But what got me most was the synergy. I teamed up with a friend, casting spells that bounced off each other’s abilities. They’d trap enemies in a bubble, and I’d blast through it with a flaming dice barrage.
After the madness in Vellum, I always ended up back in the Illuminated Library. It’s not just a menu—it’s a full-on chill zone. Upgrade your inks there, relax in your customizable nook (mine’s full of floating books and a giant chair), and gear up for the next dive. For a total shift from calm creativity to explosive timing, you can download Survivors Rhythm and fight through relentless hordes in perfect sync with the music.
