What caught me off guard was the old-school charm of the world. Rough around the edges? Sure. But it reminded me of early Mount & Blade or classic Gothic—gritty, unforgiving, and weirdly immersive. One moment, I was brewing elixirs from demon blood; the next, I was knocking enemies off ledges mid-duel with a well-timed kick.
The upgraded gear in Talon’s Blade, along with the armour that suited my pace, allowed me to explore broken villages crawling with corruption. It’s not a polished AAA experience—it’s raw, kind of janky, but full of heart. And it works especially if you’re into dark fantasy and don’t mind a few rough patches in exchange for depth and grit.
